Tuesday in India: Hop, Skip and a Jump to the Great Concept

Stand up for your right to get a rupee instead of a candy for change!

Paytm has rolled out an ad (conceptualised by McCann Erickson) that vividly presents the cashless transfer of money.

Not sure about how usable it is in reality but it looks powerful.

Hoping for some revolution in India if all goes well..

Tuesday in India: Google Google in the App, How Famous Could I Make My Dad?

Google seems to know all the main tricks in Indian book.

They've just warmed the cockles of  our heart (again!) with a short story which is far better than some of Bollywood movies.

Expressive, emotional, beautifully shot.

And the product is tastefully positioned throughout the story.

Congrats, Google!

Tuesday in India: Liar Liar, Pants on Fire

Till lie do us part.

Chevrolet India has launched a global campaign themed 'Shattering Perceptions' and it starts with "Real people. Not actors."

Huge mistake.

Especially when you hire actors on a budget who can hardly say their lines without superficiality. Or it's just me?

If you lie your consumers since the opening of the ad, how can you be perceived as truthful later, telling them the benefits of the car?

My perception of the brand is surely shattered.

Tuesday in India: Fortune Favours The Bold

When was the last time you saw men wearing bright make up and heels and being adored?

You'll see now.

My mumbaikar friend sent me this new Jabong campaign with a subject line "Check out what my friends are CRAZY about!".

Jabong continues being bold and visionary with rule bending, bright ads that celebrate experimental fashion.

Quite a fresh breath of air for Indian market.

And as Goethe once said "Boldness has genius and power and magic in it."

Keep that magic up, Jabong!
